The wait is almost over for an exciting new addition to The Bahamas: A large Paradise Island grocery store, conveniently located near Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina.
Once open in the coming months, Sawyer’s Fresh Market will be the first large grocery store on Paradise Island, concluding two years of work to bring this convenient and much-needed new amenity right to the island.
Guests at Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina can look forward to free dockside grocery delivery, while anyone on the island — residents or visitors alike — will have a new option to order delivery of groceries from Sawyer’s website or mobile app. This convenient and fresh new feature of island living will make it possible to get the best, freshest food on Paradise Island whenever and wherever it is needed.
Another Premium Offering for Paradise Island
When construction started in the summer of 2022, Sawyer’s Fresh Market’s Chief Financial Officer, Learline Moss, explained just how this store would be much more than a supermarket.
“The vision is to provide a high-end food store, and we are up to that challenge,” she said.
Once opened, shoppers can expect to find everything they need and expect — and so much more. Products include a full-service meat and seafood case, the freshest produce on the island, and a deli with delicious sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, and a coffee bar. Look for plenty of organic and locally-grown produce options, too.
The Sawyer’s name isn’t new to The Bahamas, where it currently operates two retail stores in Freeport, Grand Bahama. But it is a new member of the Paradise Island community, and the team at Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina looks forward to celebrating the opening of this exciting new option on the island in the near future.
