The New Captain’s Lounge and Gym Opened June 1, 2023, at Paradise Landing

Paradise Island, The Bahamas — A unique new feature specifically designed for yacht captains and crew members is now open at Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina at Paradise Landing in the heart of The Bahamas.

The country’s best deep-water marina, located on Paradise Island in the growing Paradise Landing commercial and residential community, opened its new Captain’s Lounge and Crew Gym on Thursday, June 1.

The dockside facility will serve as a place for yacht captains to get away and relax in comfort on the upper floor, where they can unwind and take in beautiful views from a glass-railed deck with comfortable lounge furniture. On the ground floor, captains and yacht crew members will find a state-of-the-art gym facility to exercise and enjoy time off the yacht.

Khaalis Rolle, President of Sterling Global Financial, the developer behind the Paradise Landing project, said it’s the latest addition to a growing suite of captain- and crew-friendly amenities right at Hurricane Hole. The lounge and gym facility is close to a pool, the dockside bar and grill, and barbecue facilities, meaning crew members won’t have to travel far to exercise, relax, dine, and socialize at the marina.
