Paradise Island Pharmacy Plans Fundraiser Event for Bahamas Feeding Network
The need is still high for many Bahamians, but with a drop in donations, The Bahamas Feeding Network has struggled to keep up with its mission of helping to feed people in need all across the country. Luckily, the nonprofit group is about to get some help from Paradise Island’s pharmacy — and the upcoming charity event promises to be a fun time for all involved.
Quality Care Pharmacy, located in Sterling Commons in the heart of Paradise Island, will host kits Fun, Run, Walk and Health Fair on February 3, with stretches and a warmup at 6 a.m. to start the event.
Registration is $20 per person, and group rates are also available. In addition to monetary donations, nonperishable items will also be collected for The Bahamas Feeding Network.
Following the walk, a health fair will take place along Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina at Sterling Commons. Other activities include free health screenings, demonstrations, lectures, and more.
People and businesses are encouraged to get registered now to participate, have fun, and help out a worthy group effort to provide food to individuals and families who need a helping hand.
