Lend a Hand Bahamas
Located just under 1.5 miles away from our Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina, lies the “Over The Hill” communities where many residents lack access to basic amenities such as running water and electricity. However, through the dedicated efforts of Lend a Hand Bahamas, a community center has been established to provide essential services to underprivileged members of society. These services include education, skill training, mentorship, life skills development, and other programs aimed at enhancing the social and economic welfare of the community. The “Over The Hill” communities located in close proximity to Hurricane Hole Superyacht Marina, are often overlooked and underserved. These communities have a large population of socio-economically underprivileged individuals who struggle with basic necessities like access to clean water, electricity, and education. The lack of resources and opportunities for advancement further exacerbates the cycle of poverty, leading to a host of social and economic issues.

The Bahamas Feeding Network
In The Bahamas, there are thousands of families in need of assistance to provide regular meals for their loved ones. The Bahamas Feeding Network is a collaborative network of local organizations dedicated to addressing the issue of food insecurity in the country. Through their collective efforts, the network strives to ensure that no Bahamian family goes hungry.
Through their network of partners, the Bahamas Feeding Network has established various programs aimed at tackling hunger in the country. These programs include food banks, meal programs, and food distribution initiatives that ensure access to nutritious meals for vulnerable individuals and families. The organization also provides support and education on nutrition and healthy eating practices to empower individuals to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing.
